Anners, Chestnut Street), containing brief holograph entries dating from 1846 Jan 1 to 1847 Jan 11. Alcott comments on the weather, work, meetings and visitors, and notes travel to towns in Connecticut including Southington, New Haven, and Danbury, but does not identify the town in which he resides. One page of personal accounts follows the final page of the diary entries. The printed text contains information on the eclipses for 1846, and the phases of the moon, holidays, the times of high tide, and the rising and setting of the sun and moon for each month. Alcott's name is printed on title page.
